Website Development from Scratch

Launching a website takes far more than coding pages. We handle every step as a single team — domain and email configuration, content management, security, search foundations — and hand the finished site over with complete documentation and full ownership.

Turnkey deliveryDomain, hosting, email and launch handled in one place.
Easy to manageA straightforward CMS your team can update without technical help.
Full ownershipDomain, accounts and source code are registered to you.
Overview

End-to-end website builds, from domain to launch: fast, secure, search-ready sites your own team can manage with ease, delivered with full ownership.

What slows most website projects down is fragmentation: one person handles the domain, another the hosting, separate teams the design and the build — and when something breaks, nobody is quite sure who is responsible. We run the whole process, from planning to launch, under one project manager and tie every step to a written schedule.

We choose the technology to fit the job. For content-heavy sites your team will update often, we configure a widely used platform such as WordPress properly. Where speed, security and flexibility matter most, we build on a modern stack — Astro or Next.js with a headless CMS. We make that call with you during discovery and put the reasoning in writing.

On launch day your site needs to load quickly, be crawled correctly, deliver every form submission, keep your company email out of spam folders and handle visitor data lawfully. That is why technical SEO, email authentication, cookie consent and security settings are a standard part of our build, not optional extras.

When we are replacing an existing site, we map every old URL, set up permanent redirects to the new structure and monitor search performance closely in the weeks after launch. The aim is simple: carry the visibility you have built up over the years across to the new site intact.

Why it matters

Sound familiar? You are in the right place.

Our Website service is designed to solve the problems businesses run into most often.

01

You need someone else for every small update

Waiting on an agency or developer to post a news item or swap a photo means the site gradually goes stale — and an out-of-date website quietly erodes trust.

02

The site is slow and keeps breaking

Too many plugins, unoptimised images and underpowered hosting drag performance down. A slow site loses visitors and slips down the search results.

03

Your domain and accounts belong to someone else

If the domain, hosting or CMS still sit in a previous agency's account, the site isn't really yours. Recovering access when you part ways can take weeks.

04

Your rankings dropped when the new site went live

Site changes made without a redirect plan leave old pages returning errors, and search visibility can fall sharply within days.

Scope

What's included?

The items below can be combined or booked separately, depending on what you need. Your proposal lists exactly which ones are included.

01

Technical discovery and platform choice

We look at your page structure, integrations, editorial workflow and your team's technical comfort level, then recommend the right platform — with the reasoning in writing, so there are no regrets later.

02

Domain, DNS and hosting

We register or transfer your domain, configure DNS and set up hosting sized for your traffic, with a content delivery network and automatic SSL so the site loads quickly wherever your visitors are.

03

Business email

We set up Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Major mailbox providers now require this authentication for bulk senders, so whether your email reaches the inbox depends on getting it right.

04

Content management

We build a CMS that lets your team update pages, news, people, vacancies and downloads without technical knowledge, stripped back to the fields they will actually use.

05

Front-end development

We implement the design pixel-perfectly at every screen size, in lean, accessible code. Images are resized automatically and served in modern formats.

06

Forms and integrations

Enquiry, contact and application forms are connected to your CRM, email marketing, booking and mapping tools. Nothing gets lost: every submission is emailed to you and stored in the CMS.

07

Technical SEO foundations

Title and description fields, XML sitemap, robots.txt, structured data, clean URLs and, where needed, multilingual markup are all in place before launch, so search engines understand the site from day one.

08

Privacy, consent and analytics

We implement GDPR-compliant privacy notices and cookie consent alongside Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager and advertising tags. Measurement only runs once consent is given, and every choice is logged.

09

Security and backups

HTTPS, security headers, form protection, up-to-date components and automated backups come as standard. If something unexpected happens, we can restore the site to its last known good state quickly.

Website

Our ownership and transparency principles

01

Your domain, in your name

We register the domain to your organisation or leave your existing registration with you. Management details and renewal dates are included in the handover document.

02

Accounts and access stay with you

Hosting, analytics, Search Console, email and CMS accounts are linked to your organisation. The access we need is granted with limited permissions and can be revoked whenever you choose.

03

Source code handover

For custom builds, the source code is handed over together with its version history. If you ever want to continue with another team, deployment steps are already documented.

04

Written technical documentation

Technologies, plugins, integrations, DNS records and the backup routine are recorded in a single document, so how your site works never depends on one person's memory.

Metrics and standards

What do we measure?

We judge success by metrics we agree on at the start, not by gut feeling. They form the basis of our reports and every improvement decision.

01

Core Web Vitals

LCP, INP and CLS within Google's “good” thresholds — checked with lab tests before launch and real-user data afterwards.

02

Technical SEO health

Crawl errors, indexed pages and redirect issues tracked in Search Console, with particularly close monitoring in the first weeks after launch.

03

Uptime and speed

Availability and server response time measured continuously, with instant alerts if the site goes down.

04

Tracking accuracy

Form submissions, calls and other key actions tested to confirm they are recorded completely and in line with each visitor's consent choices.

FAQ

Questions about Website

For questions specific to your project, speak to one of our project consultants.

Usually six to ten weeks, depending on scope. A 5–8 page brochure site sits at the shorter end; multilingual, integration-heavy or portal-style builds take longer. Your proposal includes a week-by-week plan.

Both — the choice depends on the project. We recommend WordPress for content-heavy sites that change often, and a modern stack where speed, security or custom functionality come first. We decide together during discovery, including what each option means for long-term maintenance.

You will. The domain and every account are set up in your organisation's name, and the source code and technical documentation are handed over to you. Our access uses limited permissions and can be removed at any time.

We select and set up hosting that suits the site. The account can be opened in your name, or we can manage it for you under a maintenance agreement. Either way, all server details are included in the handover document.

We load the content you provide, and copywriting, translation and image production can be added to the scope. After launch your team updates the site through the CMS; we provide short training and a written guide.

Not if the migration is planned properly. We crawl every existing URL, set up permanent redirects, preserve heading and content structure and watch Search Console closely after launch. Our guide on site migrations covers the details.

Yes. We set up a separate URL structure for each language, hreflang markup for search engines, and translated navigation and form text. Translations can come from your team, or translation can be added to the scope.

We take care of the technical side: a consent flow, analytics that only run with consent, fields for privacy notices on forms and secure data transfer. We recommend finalising the wording of your privacy notice and policies with your legal adviser.

Yes. We create Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts, migrate existing mailboxes and configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC — records that are now essential if your emails are to reach the inbox rather than the spam folder.

We monitor the site closely for the first 30 days after launch and prioritise fixing anything that comes up. Beyond that, we offer maintenance agreements covering updates, backups, security monitoring and small improvements.

Let's build your next project together. We don't publish prices on our website. We listen to what you need first, then start preparing a written proposal with scope, deliverables and timeline within one business day.
